KONOHA EA for MT4 and MT5: Adaptive Multi-Engine Automated Trading

KONOHA EA is an automated trading system developed for both MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5). It uses 10 confidential internal trigger engines while managing entries, recovery positions, profit targets, spread conditions, broker specifications, and market risk through one coordinated system.

The EA is recommended for installation on an M1 chart, while its signal processing is performed internally using confirmed market data. The strategy, indicators, formulas, parameters, and decision methods behind the trigger engines are confidential and are not disclosed. The important point for users is that the engines do not operate as ten unrestricted entry systems. When several signals appear together, KONOHA EA selects one priority signal and applies entry-spacing controls to reduce the risk of multiple orders being opened almost simultaneously.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: The EA is provided in a ZIP file. After downloading, please EXTRACT the ZIP first to access the Master EA file.

Available for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5

KONOHA EA is supplied in separate versions for both major MetaTrader platforms:

  • MT4 version: supplied as an MQ4 source file and an EX4 compiled file.
  • MT5 version: supplied as an MQ5 source file and an EX5 compiled file.

Always use the file created specifically for your trading platform. An MT4 file cannot run in MT5, and an MT5 file cannot run in MT4.

Markets That Can Be Evaluated

KONOHA EA includes automatic symbol and broker adaptation intended for a broad range of instruments, including:

  • XAUUSD and broker symbols containing XAU or GOLD;
  • major, minor, and selected exotic Forex pairs;
  • synthetic instruments;
  • cryptocurrency CFDs;
  • stock index CFDs;
  • individual stock CFDs;
  • XAG, XPT, XPD, and other supported metal symbols.

The EA reads the active symbol’s digits, point size, tick size, volume limits, volume step, spread, stop level, freeze level, and margin requirements. Its operating distances are also adjusted using an internal adaptive symbol profile. This is important because a fixed numerical distance does not represent the same market movement on Forex, gold, synthetics, crypto, indices, and stocks.

Once a new trading basket begins, the calculated distance profile is locked for that basket. This prevents grid distance, profit targets, virtual targets, and profit-lock levels from continuously changing while positions are active.

Capital Recommendations

Capital must be selected according to the instrument, its normal price range, the broker’s contract specification, leverage, lot size, and the maximum number of positions allowed. The following figures are general starting references for evaluation, not guarantees of safety or profitability.

XAUUSD / Gold

For an initial demo or small-scale evaluation on XAUUSD, a balance starting from approximately 1,000 USD or 1,000 account units on a cent account may be tested with conservative settings. However, for gold, the more strongly recommended starting balance is 3,000 USD or more.

A larger capital reserve generally provides better resistance against extended floating drawdown. For users prioritizing capital endurance, a balance around 30,000 USD or 30,000 cent-account units and above provides a much larger operating buffer, although it still cannot eliminate trading risk.

Important cent-account note: cent-account balances are displayed in cents. A displayed balance of 1,000 cents is normally equal to approximately 10 USD, not 1,000 USD. Compare the real monetary value, contract size, and broker specifications before deciding that a cent balance is equivalent to a standard USD account.

Synthetic Instruments

Synthetic instruments can have price ranges and movement speeds that are substantially larger than XAUUSD. If KONOHA EA is used on synthetics, prepare a larger capital reserve and begin with the smallest practical lot size. Do not assume that settings or capital that appear comfortable on gold will provide the same protection on a synthetic symbol.

Cryptocurrency, Indices, and Stock CFDs

Cryptocurrency, index, and stock CFD symbols should also be treated as high-variation instruments. Their contract sizes, trading sessions, gaps, margin rules, and price ranges can differ significantly between brokers. In many cases, these categories require capital planning closer to synthetic instruments than to conventional Forex pairs.

Forex Pairs

Many Forex pairs normally move within a smaller price range than XAUUSD. Because of this, a balance below 1,000 USD per pair may be considered for careful demo testing or conservative live evaluation. This does not mean that every Forex pair has low risk.

Pairs such as GBPJPY can have a much wider and faster range than many other Forex pairs. Capital, lot size, and position limits should therefore be adjusted for the exact pair being traded rather than using one balance assumption for every Forex symbol.

Position and Recovery Management

KONOHA EA can manage more than one position as part of a controlled basket. It supports an initial entry, adverse-direction grid recovery, signal-based recovery when an active basket is floating negative, and additional entries after the latest position reaches a qualified positive range.

The maximum number of positions is calculated per active direction and per current trading campaign. After the entire basket is closed, the position count returns to zero for the next fresh signal.

When a basket-close condition is triggered, the Priority Close Audit system gives priority to profitable positions, followed by larger-volume positions. New exposure is blocked during the close cycle and during the protected re-entry interval.

High-Impact News Protection

The high-impact news filter is enabled by default. New initial entries, grid orders, continuation entries, and recovery additions are blocked beginning five minutes before a relevant high-impact event. Entry permission resumes twenty minutes after the event.

Protective management remains active during the news restriction. Existing positions can still receive TP and SL maintenance, profit-lock management, virtual-close processing, and Priority Close Audit handling.

The MT5 version uses the economic calendar available through the platform. The MT4 version uses an external calendar feed and requires the following address to be added to the terminal’s permitted WebRequest list:

https://nfs.faireconomy.media

Built-In Protection Features

KONOHA EA includes optional license-key, multiple-account-number, and expiry protection. These distribution protections are available but disabled by default. Emergency protection based on reference capital drawdown and broker-point stop loss is also available with its default switch set to off.

The EA remembers processed signal events and entry timing through persistent terminal state. If MetaTrader is restarted, AutoTrading is temporarily switched off, or the EA is removed and attached again, it is designed not to repeat an entry from the same previously processed event. Existing KONOHA positions from supported earlier versions are scanned and managed through migration-safe position handling.

KONOHA EA is intentionally disabled in the MT4 and MT5 Strategy Tester. Evaluation should be performed through forward testing on a demo account before considering live trading.

Before Using the EA

  • Begin with a demo account and observe several complete trading campaigns.
  • Use the smallest appropriate lot while learning the behavior of a new symbol.
  • Do not run too many symbols from one small account.
  • Review the broker’s contract size, minimum volume, margin, and stop restrictions.
  • Allow the spread-learning system to collect live market data.
  • Use more capital for symbols with wider ranges and faster movement.
  • Monitor free margin and total account exposure, not only the floating result of one chart.

Risk Warning

Automated trading, grid recovery, and multi-position strategies involve substantial risk. Larger capital can improve the available margin buffer but cannot guarantee account safety, prevent drawdown, or ensure profit. Market gaps, extreme volatility, spread expansion, execution delays, broker changes, and prolonged directional movement can produce losses beyond normal expectations.

KONOHA EA should be treated as a trading tool, not as a promise of income. Test it thoroughly, select capital according to the instrument being traded, use conservative exposure, and never trade money you cannot afford to lose.
